Pat Speaks at United Nations General Assembly to Introduce Ennio Morricone's Concert for Peace (February 6, 2007) On February 2, Pat welcomed the great Italian composer Ennio Morricone in his New York concert debut to honor new United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. The concert was held in the General Assembly of the United Nations. Metheny spoke warmly about the impact of Morricone's music on the world and addressed the challenges facing the U.N. at this point in its history while welcoming the Secretary-General to is new post.
